Choo Roo is a gateway to ethical eating and happy, sustainable living with a healthy dose of shenanigans thrown in for good measure.
Based out of the Adelaide Hills, South Australia, Choo Roo embodies the importance of increasing one’s self sufficiency, being active in the community, environmental conservation and the locavore way of life.
With a strong emphasis on hot food, home cooking, sustainable eating, home brewing, foraging, gardening and growing food, fishing, hunting, music and general good times all around, Choo Roo is more than just a food based company and YouTube channel. Choo Roo is a way of life.
The name “Choo Roo” derives from a sentiment that as environmentally conscience Australian omnivores, eating game meat (kangaroo for example), growing one’s own food and becoming less dependent on governing bodies and large scale industry is the key to true sustainability on a local and global scale.
We aim to make the most of life, share in the good times, enjoy what the world has to offer without destroying it for future generations. As we learn and grow we aim to share our journey with the world, successes and failures alike.
Our YouTube channel varies greatly content wise but you can be sure to get a healthy of dose of humorous Aussie adventures, wild cooking tutorials, delicious home brewing concoctions, valuable fishing/foraging/hunting tips, history, fun facts and endless shenanigans!

PRODUCTS
Our original product, Choo Roo Chilli Sauce (formerly “Caprica Chilli Sauce”) came about through a father and son’s passion for growing chillies, a love for hot dishes and an appreciation of all things spicy. Choo Roo Chilli Sauce has an original, unique and full bodied flavour with the intense bite ones expects from a hot sauce. We are constantly bringing out new products, new sauce varieties, seasonal delights and wickedly decadent flavour profiles.
Choo Roo aims to source all its ingredients and materials locally and supports local businesses to the best of their ability. A portion of all sales are donated to the CFS Foundation whose mission is to provide immediate financial assistance and care to CFS volunteer fire-fighters and their families to offset suffering and distress caused in the line of active duty.

Orders & Processing
All orders are packed and shipped by hand from the Adelaide Hills, South Australia.
Orders are typically processed and shipped within 5–7 business days. We are a small independent business and appreciate your patience.
Once your order has been shipped, delivery timeframes are dependent on the postal carrier and are outside of our control.
Shipping
Customers are responsible for ensuring their shipping address is entered correctly at checkout.
We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, extreme weather events, strikes, customs processing, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Sales, Promotions & Discount Codes
Discount codes and promotional pricing must be applied at checkout by the customer before payment is completed.
We cannot retroactively apply discounts, partially refund completed orders, provide store credit for missed discount codes, or honour sale pricing outside of advertised promotional periods.
Sale dates, discount amounts, and promotional offers may change without notice.
Refunds & Returns
Due to the nature of our food products, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for change of mind purchases.
If a product arrives damaged, incorrect, or faulty, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order details so we can assess the issue and work toward a fair resolution.
We reserve the right to refuse refunds or replacements where claims appear fraudulent, unreasonable, abusive, or outside the scope of Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in this policy excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Product Information & Allergies
Our products are produced in a facility that may process common allergens including chilli, nuts, garlic, onion, gluten and other ingredients.
While we take food safety seriously, customers are responsible for reviewing ingredient information and determining suitability for their own dietary needs and tolerances.
Limitation of Liability
By purchasing from Choo Roo, customers acknowledge that many of our products contain chilli and other strong ingredients and consume them at their own discretion.
We are not liable for misuse of products, improper storage after delivery, allergic reactions, or indirect damages arising from product use.
